A good landlord should...
Today we all need to account for the energy used in our houses and reduce our carbon emmisions. 84% of the energy used in our houses comes from heating and hot water so if we can use proper controls on our heating systems we can all help with these reductions. For all local authorities and housing associations i would be appalled to think that any of these in question do not use a local manufacturer for their heating controls i.e Honeywell @ newhouse in lanarkshire - this plant employs over 800 local people and manufacturer heating controls that can make a big difference - " made in Scotland for Scotland by Scotland" - it would be a travisty if this plant had to close due to lack of orders from this country.

We gathered a lot of information at our roadshow events, and on this website. We're also grateful to the organisations that ran Charter events and sent us their reports.
We used all the good ideas you gave us as a starting point for writing the discussion paper. Please read the paper and post your comments on the site.
