    A good landlord should...

A good landlord will strive to set targets which are acheivable. Standards should be common-place amongst all landlords, which sets goals that are equal across the board; how to acheive those standards are different from area to area, as long as the outcome is the same.
Tenants musn't expect too high a target, which is unrealistic in terms of the current economic climate, but with co-operation between landlord and tenant, mutual understanding and open-ness, then target levels can be set which are acheivable whilst maintaining outcomes to suit all

Ideas have now been archived

This area of the site is now archived. You won't be able to post new Ideas, but can still read what others had to say. Thank you for posting your ideas and joining the conversation about the Charter.

We gathered a lot of information at our roadshow events, and on this website. We're also grateful to the organisations that ran Charter events and sent us their reports.

We used all the good ideas you gave us as a starting point for writing the discussion paper. Please read the paper and post your comments on the site.
